START TO FINISH

Three steps to water you stop thinking about

60 seconds, one call, one install day.

  1. STEP 1

See your system and your price

60 seconds of questions, then your Water Profile shows what your home needs, what it costs and what you can skip.

  2. STEP 2

    We talk it through

We call to make sure the system fits your home, go over your options and answer any questions. You'll then get a written quote.

  3. STEP 3

    Installation day

We test your water at the tap, then tune your system to what we find.

YOU MAY BE NOTICING

Most Jacksonville homeowners notice at least one of these

Find the one that sounds like yours.

  • Hard-water scale built up across a stainless steel sink and around the base of the tap

    SPOTS AND SCALE

Spots on every glass, film on the shower door

The film on the door, the crust on the fixtures, a water heater working harder than it should.

  • A chrome kitchen tap running clear water into a stainless steel sink, with light limescale around the spout and daylight from a window behind

    THE SMELL

A rotten-egg smell that comes and goes

Worse from the hot tap, or worse some days than others. City water does it too, and what causes the rotten-egg smell is rarely what people guess.

  • Two glasses side by side, one holding cloudy brown water and one holding clear water

    THE TASTE

Nobody in the house drinks the tap water

Reverse osmosis at the kitchen sink is in every system we build.

  • Damp hair falling across a bare shoulder in a tiled bathroom, seen from behind with daylight from a window

    SKIN AND HAIR

Skin that feels tight and hair that will not behave

Soap doesn't rinse off in hard water, it leaves a film. This is the one people notice within a week of the system going in.

  • A water-heater heating element caked in pale mineral scale, lying on a workbench beside a wrench and the opened tank

    APPLIANCE WEAR

The water heater, the dishwasher, the fixtures

Scale settles anywhere hot water sits still. It's the part of hard water you don't see until something stops working.

  • Orange iron staining spread around the drain of a white basin

    ORANGE STAINING

Rust marks that come back after you scrub them

Iron, sulfur and hardness each need their own stage, in the right order.

HOW TO FIND THE RIGHT SYSTEM FOR YOU

How we figure out what you need

  1. YOU ANSWER

The quiz running on a phone: it asks whether the water comes from a city utility or a private well, then what you are noticing at home, whether you own or rent, how many people live there, and ends on your ZIP code.
  2. FIND OUT WHAT'S IN YOUR WATER

The Water Profile on a phone: the hardness reading for this ZIP code and the utility it comes from, the household grain load drawn as a field of pebbles, and the symptoms this home reported.
  3. YOU SEE YOUR SYSTEM

The recommendation on a phone: the system name, the three pieces it is built from, the installed price and what Stillwell Care costs a month.

  2. THEN

    We replace it

When the setting isn't it, we swap the equipment for the right build and you don't pay the difference.

  3. OR

    We refund it

If it still isn't right by day 90, we take the system out and refund you. You're the one who decides.

QUESTIONS

Common questions

Will someone come out to sell me a system?

No. 60 seconds of questions and your system and price come back on screen, free. When you're ready, we come out to install it and tune it to your water that day. There's no in-home sales call in between. The quote is yours to keep either way, and it shows what you don't need as well as what you do.

How much does a system cost?

City systems start from $2,795 and well systems from $3,595. Your Water Profile shows the exact system your water calls for, with the system price and Care listed separately, in writing.

Is the Water Profile really free?

Yes, and so is the written quote. You see what your water calls for and what it costs, with no obligation. You decide what happens next.

What happens on install day?

We test your water at the tap, tune the system to what we find, install it clean, and walk you through it before we leave. You are never billed more than the quote you accepted.

What if I'm on a well?

Well water gets its own approach: iron, sulfur and hardness treated in the right order. Take 60 seconds and we lay out the train your well calls for.

Should you have a water softener in Florida?

For most Florida homes, yes. The water runs hard to very hard, which leaves scale, spots, and dry skin, and shortens appliance life. 60 seconds tell you how hard yours runs and whether a softener is worth it.
